Ambassador of the European Union calls on the Foreign Minister

Minister Asim and Ambassador Margue held discussions about the ongoing political events in the country, and the relations between EU and the Maldives. Foreign Minister emphasized that the Maldives attaches high importance to its relations with EU and appreciated the support and co-operation extended by the Union. Minister Asim also reiterated the commitment of the Government of Maldives in upholding the rule of law in the country.
