Foreign Minister sends congratulatory message to the Foreign Minister of China

Minister’s message reads as follows:

“I have the honour to extend warm congratulations and sincere good wishes on your re-appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. It is also with profound happiness that I learnt of your promotion to a State Councillor.

I am confident that the close relationship between the two countries and its people will further strengthen during your new term of office.

I wish to convey my personal best wishes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity for the people of China.
