Minister Asim sends Independence Day greetings to Mauritius

Minister’s message reads as follows:

“It gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Mauritius on the joyous occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Mauritius.

On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives and on my own behalf, I extend heartiest congratulations on this happy occasion and wish continued peace, progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Mauritius.

I am confident that the close relations between our two countries will continue to flourish in the coming years.
