The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Yuri Materiy paid a courtesy call on the Foreign Secretary, His Excellency Ahmed Sareer this morning.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Secretary and the Ambassador held discussions on ways to further strengthen and enhance the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.

Foreign Secretary was accompanied by Ms. Shiuneen Rasheed, Director and Ms. Fathimath Razana, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
