Certificates of Completion awarded to graduates of FOSIM’s Young Diplomats Training Programme

Certificates of Completion were awarded to the participants of the Young Diplomats Training Programme conducted by FOSIM, at an event held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. Three participants achieved certificates.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid, congratulated the participants, and FOSIM on the completion of the programme. He further highlighted the importance of FOSIM, for the professional development of the Foreign Service.
The Young Diplomats Training Programme is a pilot programme of one year, designed and conducted by FOSIM to recruit and train Foreign Service Officers.
FOSIM was established on 16 January 2014, under the administrative structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of promoting professionalism in the foreign service.
