Secretary-General of the Muslim World League concludes official visit to the Maldives

The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa has concluded his official visit to the Maldives.
The Secretary-General was seen-off at the Velana International Airport by His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During his visit, Secretary-General Dr. Al-Issa called on His Excellency Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, President of the Maldives, Her Excellency Uza. Mariya Ahmed Didi, Minister of Defence, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Zahir, Minister of Islamic Affairs, and His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. During the visit, the first official talks between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Muslim World League was also held, to strengthen cooperation on a wide range of areas, including establishing a Muslim World League regional office in the Maldives.
This was the first official visit by a Secretary-General of the Muslim World League to the Maldives.
