His Excellency Mr. Wang Xiaotao, Representative of the Chinese Government and Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency departs Maldives

His Excellency Mr. Wang Xiaotao, Representative of the Chinese Government and Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, has departed from Male’, this afternoon, after concluding his two day official visit to the Maldives.
His Excellency Mr. Wang’s visit was to attend the opening ceremony of the China Maldives Friendship Bridge. During his visit, the Chinese Government’s Representative paid a Courtesy Call on His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, President of the Maldives, and attended an official luncheon hosted by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Asim, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
His Excellency Mr. Wang was seen off at Velana International Airport by His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Khaleel, Secretary, Bilateral of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Faisal, Ambassador of Maldives to China, and Ms. Fathimath Najwa, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
