On Monday, 14 November, Ambassador of Maldives, H.E. Mr Omar A. Razzak, attended the BTEXPO 2022 in Nivelles.

The Belgium Travel Expo (BTExpo) is the Belgian Trade Show for Tourism and MICE professionals.  Since 2004, many professional visitors and a lot of brands take part to this event. All segments of the tourism industry are present: Leisure Travel & Business Travel, Meeting Industry.

Ambassador Omar held discussions with many representatives from the tourism industry of Belgium and other European countries with the aim to expand the bilateral cooperation and promote Maldives as a tourist destination.
