Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel presented the letter of appointment to Gerard Huiting, first Honorary Consul of the Maldives in Antwerp, Belgium, today.

The Minister of State expressed his confidence in Mr. Huiting and congratulated him on his appointment.

Honorary Consul of the Maldives in Belgium, and Founder & President of Benelux-Maldives Society H.E Mr Gerard Huiting paid a courtesy call on Minister of Tourism H.E. Mr Abdulla Mausoom and discussed cooperation in tourism. He also presented to Ministry a "Maldives Tourism 50" Flag.
